A 6 hour tour ... and the weather started getting rough ...

Post by Rob Ainscough »

Wonderful flight with a bunch of add-ons ... longish for a 310R at 5 hrs 50 mins. Graphics settings maxed out, TEXTURE_SIZE_EXP=10, etc. etc.

Fill up, then next stop is Seychelles (FSIA) 770nm ... then pushing the fuel margin to Gan/Maldives (VRMG) so stay tuned!

Cheers, Rob.

Hey Rob,

Enjoyed the video, keep em coming. I'm locked into my flight deck when flying now, so I don't get into any other types of aircraft anymore.

Looks Great!

Thanks Mike. Your setup is looking fantastic ... but if you decide you want to fly other aircraft and get into smaller airports, you can always build a general purpose PC for that option ... you're never "locked" in, always options.

Looks like bitcoin scam is unraveling and GPUs are slowly coming back down to normal prices ... I figured it would be just a matter of time, too bad real hardware users had to suffer thru this bitcoin scam. So if you do decide on a second GP PC, GPU prices shouldn't be too bad and it seems June nVidia may actually announce their next gen GPU hopefully going on retail stores in July (maybe sooner) ... it's my understanding nVidia have been "holding" onto the GPU waiting for the bitcoin to fade away (bitcoin lost another $400 in value in one day, down to $7610 from it's peek at $21,000 just a few months ago) ... folks are beginning to realize it's not a currency anyone can use due to such high instability and ties to criminal activity.

Cheers, Rob.
