no sound in P3Dv4.2, but normal sound playing mp3 - Jetstream 738

Hello,
we have trouble with sound in P3D. No noise, e.g. from the engines but if we play a mp3 file we hear all fine.
In the settings we configured the correct soundcard but there is nothing to hear.

Do you have any idea?

Also what are your system specs? Have you made any hardware or configuration changes lately including the installation on new add-ons?

I had the same problem after a recent Windows 10 update. Found that somehow my sound card no longer was the one the computer was trying to use. Reset to the proper sound card and problem gone.

Thank you guys, for your Reply. With your help, I found out, that the Jetstream 738 has no Sound. All other plains from P3Dv4 are fin.
Now I have to find out, why the prosim model does not give any loud!!
In June I'm on holidays, but after that, I start investigating.
Hope, Ican find out.
