Full screen impossible with 2 monitors

Post by clement78 »

Hi, i'm working on P3D v4.2, since i have 2 monitors i can't be on full screen, when i am on full screen and i go back to the desk i got a message "DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_RESET" i try general debugging steps but it don't work, also p3d show me 2 graphic cards, GTX 960.0.0 and GTX 960.0.1 i can only select GTX 960.0.0, my NVIDIA driver is up to date, keep in mind that p3d work perfectly when i'm not in full screen.

Hello,

Do you see this issue if you uncheck the "Black out Desktop" option in the graphics settings? Also can you elaborate on only being able to select one device? Can you set the full screen resolution for each device within Prepar3D in the Full Screen Settings section? If so try setting them to your monitor's native resolution and see if the error still occurs.

Can you try going through our general debugging steps here:

There may be a configuration or add-on issue.

Hi Clement,

Can you post your full system specs? Also what full screen resolution is in your settings and what resolution are your monitors currently set to?

Hi Clement,

You could try a program called Borderless Gaming. I got it on Steam and it seems to do a pretty good job, at least to me. I use a 55" TV for P3D and a 23" touchscreen monitor for Pro-ATX/X, Active Sky, Aivlasoft EFB etc. Check it out on Youtube and see if this little program will do. I used to run P3D in windowed mode, as I was unable to use a second monitor while in full screen on P3D. Cheers.

Regards,

Jayojackal.
