[RESOLVED] NTDLL Crashes every flight recently
Greetings Folks,
Everything has been working well for the past month or so and randomly last week my flights have ended with the NTDLL app crash. Nothing has changed at all. Its completely random, sometimes flights complete and most times recently they end in the Dll error. I have I7-6700, 16GB ram, Nvidia GTX980TI. What makes it weird is, I am not having performance issues whatsoever. I even updated to 3.2 and I have crashed every flight this week with the error. Im
not sure what changed, maybe a rougue windows update? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

I have windows 8.1 Professional 64bit and The AS A319-321 series. I generally can make it up to cruise or
up to about 40 minutes within the flight and bam crash. I have made numerous flights with pmdg and Airbus x and suddenly since last week Ive been able to complete 1 flight.

Hi CaptBMckay:
1) Can you please post the Windows Event log for this error here so we can see the exception code?
2) Do you use any other addons, for example AI, weather, ATC etc?
Cheers, Mike

Re: NTDLL Crashes every flight recently
Looks like that exception relates to a Heap Corruption maybe relating to Visual C++ 2010
Re: NTDLL Crashes every flight recently
I have had this problem myself (same crash and exception code) and I believe it can be an issue with a MyTraffic traffic bgl.
Please go to your MyTraffic/Scenery folder and change MyTrafficmil.bgl to MyTrafficmil.bgl.off and that will temporarily disable the bgl.
If it works you will lose military traffic but you will lose the crashes too.
Be aware that if you create new AI schedules for any reason then a new MyTrafficmil.bgl will be created and you will have to add the .off suffix again to disable it.
Hope this helps,
Cheers, Mike

Re: NTDLL Crashes every flight recently
I was getting NTTdll.dll crashes about every 4 flights in the last 6 weeks or so. I saw the post on the My traffic forum about deactivating the miltary.bgl, , and disabled it , my the suggestion below , and have not had a crash since.mike5045 wrote:I have had this problem myself (same crash and exception code) and I believe it can be an issue with a MyTraffic traffic bgl.

Here is the quote from Burkhard on the MT6 forum... Notice he recommends using passive instead of off.
"Please rename the file MyTraffic\scenery\MyTrafficmil.bgl to MyTrafficmil.bgl.passive for the time being, does this help?"
