15m Sat imagery for realistic water

Post by NormanLGibson »

The following few screenshots show how 15m imagery (Terracolor) can be used under a water mask to give a more (actually "real") realistic water look.

At altitude, I prefer the water setting to minimum as it gives a more natural appearance, especially in rivers.

Following are a few screenshots of the water masking over sat imagery as against default water. Water settings are to the lowest setting. A blend Mask is set further off the coast to blend the shallow coastal water with the deep default water.
