trouble installing Pd4.5

Gday gents im having trouble installing pdv4.5 onto my pc,when i click on the dectop icon,which it looks like part of the sim has installed i keep getting the msg,contents and scenery files are not installed then the sim closes,ive tried too install them but with no luck,ive also tried uninstalling the sim completely and then reinstalling it again,but the same issue,any help would be most welcomed cheers gents.

Hi,

Have you only downloaded the client and not the full packaged zip file? What happens when you install them
Check UAC is at minimum and don't install in program files, have anti virus off if you can and defender also.

Hi steve thanks for your help,i have all UAC,anti virus stuff turned off,i downloaded the whole sim 12.9 gigs worth,when i run the installer it says cant find contents file.msi file not found,and most of the files end up in c drive program files?and only downloading the client ?im not sure about that,ive tried everything ?any ideas,i went too the control panel and removed everything from there before i tried a reinstall ?

Hard to tell... you are not describing how you installed such that anyone not looking over your should knows what you are doing.

My first guess is that you have not extracted all of the files from the zip container. When more than one file is part of an installer package one must extract all files before running the installer.
