I am attempting to uninstall P3D V3 using the process outlined in this forum. The uninstall starts fine but then a popup window opens that states "Specified account already exist". This occurs three times during the uninstall. The uninstall then appears to continue but then I get another error message that states
"Setup failed'
0x80070643 Fatal error during installation
What do I do now. I want to uninstall and then reinstall a fresh copy with no add-ons in an attempt to try to find out why I am getting long (1 to 4 second) intermittent pauses in the program.
Thanks

Hello CajunRon
First Insure your Antivirus software or Firewall is not blocking the uninstall process
Then try this link below and go through the steps

Re: Error messages when trying to uninstall/deactivate V3
Thanks for the reply.
I was able to uninstall . First I chose the "Repair" item on the Uninstaller and let the installation go through this "repair". I then I disabled my virus protection as you suggested. Don't know which of these two things solved the problem but I was able to successfully uninstall it.
Thanks.
