Updated to V3.1. Got a message that the installation was succesful, but when running P3D it still shows the old version 3.0 numberf.

Right click on the P3D exe file and look at details ..it says Product Version 3.1.2.15831...

that's all it counts...

If you update the content and scenery, the version in Prepar3D won't change. It only changes with a client update.

Thanks. Did a "clean" install instead so everything is just fine now.
