[RESOLVED] P3D V3 activation trouble

Gentlemen,

after reinstalling P3D V3 i get this error



This happens right after pressing one of the both buttons (Activate / Purchase P3D) whenstarting P3D the first time...

When having a look into my account on the Prepar3d site it says the licence ist ok....

Any idea ?

How did you reinstall? Also, did you activate Online or through another method?

Hi Adam,

thanks for coming back that fast.

I uninstalled and installed using the P3D Setup.exe
then ccleaner and i manually deleted all P3D related folders.
I did activate it online, yesterday

Hello,

If that is occurring, it is likely administration privileges were not successfully executed.

Go to your Prepar3D installation directory and right click on the Prepar3D.exe and select Run as administrator. That should allow the application to create the proper registry keys.

Just to confirm, you are not able to reach the Active Online or Active from Another Computer options?

Could you attempt to launch Prepar3D without any joystick devices plugged in?

okay, i think i found it.

until yesterday and the first installation of P3D i had Win 10 running.
Then i deinstalled P3D in order to get back to Win 7.
After rolling back to Win 7 i installed P3D again and got his error.
now i installed Win 10 again and P3D is running (without deinstalling it before installing WIn10)

I have no idea why this happens, maybe you do ?

i just have to come up again with this.

Since i have some .net framework prob with the win 10 upgrade i decided to go back to win7.
SO uninstalled p3d run ccleaner to remove all dll links etc and restored win7 from a backup.
Then installed PrDv3 again and still getting the error from above.....

what am i doing wrong ?

I have the same issue. Since yesterday, I try the activation without success, and dispite four messages from P3D Licensing "we have reactivated your license". So can I do now?

What error code are you receiving?

No error code just :

Your license is not curently valide and so on... like the fisrt post of this forum.

Did you install with the Setup.exe or the Installer_Client.msi? Could you ensure that you have .NET 4.5 installed?
