Hi,
I am doing something wrong, so I really would need your advice. I've been sometime without flying at all, so I am a bit rusty...
I am cleared for ILS and I have the runway close to me, in front of me, I'll be 15 miles away let's say, the runway is northwest.
I am going to Seville, Spain, LEZL, runway 27, I am cleared for ILS Rwy 27, frequency 110.100
This way I have configured my instruments:
The GNS430
It has the ILS frequency active, in my case 110.10
CDI is VLOC
I have select the ID on to listen the beep beep (Navaid), also I have selected NAV1 in the radios as active...
The autopilot
AP autopilot main switch is ON
FD flight director is ON
NAV is off
APR approach is ON
ALT is ON
I don't know for what reason I am not getting the glidescope...
The aircraft should turn left, align with the runway and start to descend... however I continue flying away and I don't get the ILS...
Please see the screenshot
Any idea of what am I doing wrong?
Cheers
Some advices to tackle properly the ILS glidescope?
Re: Some advices to tackle properly the ILS glidescope?
Well... I finally found this was not working. I was using the second GNS430 and that way I cannot capture properly the ILS glidescope, however if I use the first on top GNS430, then I can capture perfectly the ILS glidescope and I can land without problems.
Any idea of why is this happening?
What function perform two GNS430 systems mounted on the aircraft?

Re: Some advices to tackle properly the ILS glidescope?
The top unit is COM1/NAV1 radio tuning.
The lower unit is COM2/NAV2 radio tuning.
The HSI uses only NAV1 for the CDI and GlidesLope.
(There is no "c" in glideslope). ;)

Hi :P yes, Glideslope :P I am sorry :P
Aha, okay first GNS Nav1 second GNS Nav2
I thought the same device was able to handle both NAVS and not having to install two devices to handle every radio... ok, fine.
Thanks a lot for the information, now it is working ;)
