Just a heads up a nearly year on, I purchased the Iris T-6B/C versions (because they had some great RAF Textures) and have given up flying them as I always have OOM after about 15-20 minutes flying. Iris's support is non-existent for me in the UK (probably because we beat them at cricket!!). Has anyone one else have problems with these versions or is there a fix I can do?

Computer specs:-

Intel i5-2500K @ 3.30GHz Sandy Bridge
MSI Z77A-G45 Motherboard
8GB DDR3 Ram
ASUS NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960
500GB Hybrid SSD Hard drive (main), secondary 500GB HDD, third backup 320 GB HDD
OCZ 750 watt PSU

P3D v2.5.12946 Win 7 64bit

Regards

Nigel

The best way to reduce OOM issues is to lower your settings or reduce the add-ons that you have installed. Try testing using a default aircraft. If you're still OOMing relatively quickly, it's probably not the T-6. If everything works fine in a default aircraft, then something is more likely incompatible with the T-6. Mix and match different settings and add-on combinations until you find something that works best for your setup.

Hello Mike,

I've tried what you suggested some time ago and the only times I suffer OOMs is when flying Iris's T-6B or C.
I'm pretty sure its something to do with the panel cfg and VC setup that is too much for my P3D to handle, Glass cockpit display etc., I have no problem with the default Iris T-6A even with a repaint low vis RAF grey texture.

What is the line "zorder=0" mean within the Panel cfg? What does it do?

Window00]
Background_color=5,0,5
size_mm=1024,536
window_size_ratio=1.000
position=0
visible=0
window_size= 0.5, 0.5
window_pos= 0.000, 0.025
zorder=0
ident=Aircraft Configuration Manager

gauge00=T6C-ACM!ACM, 0,0,1024,536
