Hey all-
I'm looking where to ask for support for the IRIS T-6A that comes with P3D. I am unable to extend flaps or retract landing gear. And I am often getting a HYD FL LO annunciator but have no knowledge on how to adjust fluid level within P3D. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?
Thanks!

I had this issue also. I fixed it by changing to another aircraft and back. I have Lionheart's DA-40. There may be something in the fxml file. I don't know what, but look in the controls section - see if anything looks funny.

There is also a speed check - where the gear will not extend at too high a speed.

Ron-
Thanks for the info. Are you referencing one of the main sim XMLs, or one for the aircraft itself?

Also, as a side note...I apologize for putting this under the F-22 thread. There is no T-6 thread in the default aircraft support forum for whatever reason, and I figured since the F-22 was also made by IRIS it would fit the best.

Let me also add that I can't even get the thing to start properly...I had to go into Slew Mode, get some altitude, then turn off Slew to get the engine running. When I go through the start up checklist, I just hear the starter cycle over and over again...

Check your fuel gauge. Look in the Fxml file for the fuels tanks. Turbo props have trouble, when you change aircraft. I put ALL fuel takes to 100%. I was able to start the T-6 from a cold start using the checklist.

The fxml file is in C:\Users\,your NT login>\Documents\Prepar3D v2 Files.

Look in Previous Flight.fxml (or your saved flight) file at the section:

<Section Name="Fuel.0">
<Property Name="TankSelector" Value="All" />
<Property Name="TankSelector1" Value="All" />
<Property Name="Center" Value="100" />
<Property Name="LeftMain" Value="59.708" />
<Property Name="RightMain" Value="59.708" />
<Property Name="LeftAux" Value="100" />
<Property Name="RightAux" Value="100" />
<Property Name="LeftTip" Value="100" />
<Property Name="RightTip" Value="100" />
<Property Name="Center 2" Value="100" />
<Property Name="Center 3" Value="100" />
<Property Name="External 1" Value="100" />
<Property Name="External 2" Value="100" />
</Section>

I tried all that, still nothing.
I follow the checklist and spool up the starter. When I disengage the engine cutoff handle I see fuel flow on the AEDD increase, but N1 stays at 12% and the starter sound just cycles.

Scratch my last. I managed to make it so I can start using the checklist, but I still have the HYD FL LO annunciator so I cannot use any hydraulic services, like raising the landing gear. Is there anywhere that I can make sure P3D is detecting a full 5 quarts of oil?

I have the same HYD indicator. but my flaps and gear work - Max speed 120 for Gear - perhaps flaps to TO will help with speed

Hey guys :)

I had the same problem. I found by doing the following the issue was resolved.

Go to the in-game key config. Find "repair and refuel" assign the key "Shift+Ctrl+r".

Before you do any of the start up, press "Shift+Ctrl+r".

Sometimes you need to press "Shift+Ctrl+r" then save the game, then reload it again. Not sure why this happens though.

It's also important to follow the startup check list to a tee.

Thanks Spike11, this is a good tip. Would help on all turbine aircraft that have starting issues.

Using the "Looking for IRIS T-6 Support", is there any way I can get a usable HUD display for the T-6 without having to purchase the T-6 from IRIS?

I find its strange they haven't included it in the P3D aircraft.

Hi Nigel,

Its the variants. The version provided by IRIS for P3D is the T-6A and the variant when purchased is T-6B&C.
HUD and digital cockpits was not upgraded until Variant B came out.

T6-A does not have a HUD, only the B/C!
