What would be nice to see in the future is the correct modeling of sound and how it changes based on air density. For example, a turbofan engine at full power will be loud at low altitude, with that distinctive growl and some jet whine. But this should all fade out at high altitude to just a low pitch groan when power settings are changed. Right now the sound.cfg doesn't have any provisions for altering sound volume or playing different sound files based on altitude.
