Upgrade Question

Hi,
at the moment I'm using for the simulation PC P3Dv4.5, Active Sky on Windows 10 with a
CPU: Intel i7-5960X with 3 GHz,
16 GB RAM,
GPU: AMD Radeon R9 200 Series, 3 GB GDDR5

what would be th better way, switch to a i9 system or a powerful GPU ?

i9-9700K for the CPU, best with water-cooling. Then get the best nVidia GPU the budget can afford after that.
