ATC Window In VR

Post by Rlbomber »

Since the patch yesterday, my ATC window is now located way up in the upper right hand corner and I've tried everything to move it back down. Would someone please let me know the trick to moving this window?

I can move it in non vr by undocking it and moving to a new location. But, when I go back into vr mode, it's back up in the upper right hand corner.

When I say way up, it's outside of the plane in the upper right hand corner.

Thanks for any help that can be provided.

Hello,

You should be able to move the ATC window with the following commands:

Translate: LeftMouseDown + Shift
Rotate X Axis: LeftMouseDown + Ctrl + ScrollWheel
Rotate Y Axis: LeftMouseDown + Ctrl + '
Rotate Z Axis: LeftMouseDown + Ctrl + PlusKey
Uniform Scale: LeftMouseDown + Shift + Ctrl
Resize Panel: LeftMouseDown + Shift + Tab

For more information, you can view our VR documentation here:

Thanks, that works for moving the window but is there a way to move the window so that it will remain in the same place every time I load an aircraft?

I wonder what changed with the VR patch that made the ATC window move to a new location? Prior to yesterdays patch, the window was fine. All the other windows or panels are located in the proper location, just not the ATC.

Hopefully, this will get fixed, it's going to be a pain in the butt if it has to be moved every time.

Hello,

All panels in VR have default positions that are saved to the missionpanels.cfg

C:\Program Files\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\gauges\missionpanels.cfg

The ATC is Window11. You can modify the 3dp_worldspace_pos_offset variable and set it to your desired position.

Hi Everyone, I'm a little late to the Party with this, can the same trick be used with the Nav log window for GA flights?
