I have a two screen set-up operating in Win10 off the same Nvidia GTX1060 6gb card.
When I go flying, I turn on the second smaller screen and change the Display Settings/Multiple Displays to : Extend these displays. I can then move running apps (ASP4, vpilot/IvApp etc) across to the secondary screen and run P3D on the main big screen.
That works fine with P3Dv3..........but, for some (to me unknown) reason this does not work the same way in P3Dv4.3.
With P3Dv4.3 and both screens running, the selected view is spread across both displays.......which makes everything completely unuseable! Without the second screen running, the view on the main screen is perfect.
I am sure the solution will be a simple setting in Options in P3Dv4.3...........however ,I cannot find the solution and would be very grateful for guidance.
Many thanks.......Ian

Re: P3Dv4.3 Display problem
Hi Ian,
Try exiting full screen and then position the window on the desired display. Then when you enter full screen again the view should only be on this display. There are also a couple full screen options you can set. You may want to uncheck the option to black out displays.
Regards,
Rob McCarthy

Hello Rob,
Very many thanks for your helpful response.
Not quite sure I fully understand your suggestion :
I will try again after unchecking the option to black out displays.

Hi Rob,
Here is a screen shot showing my two displays and how the image is spilt between the two screens

I have tried your suggestion to open and resize a new window to fit the main display. Sort of works but I cannot then change the views (aerosoft A319 Professional).
Unchecking the option to black out displays makes no apparent difference.
Oh well.......maybe I will have to accept that I can only use one display with v4.......a retrograde step when the two display set-up works perfectly with v3!
If it helps in any way, here is the error file:

Re: P3Dv4.3 Display problem
Hello,
It appears that your add-on aircraft is attempting to execute custom view switching code. Do you have any issues switching views with default aircraft? If not then I suggest contacting the add-on developer to see if there's an issue there.

Re: P3Dv4.3 Display problem
Hello Rob,
Well.....I have finally fixed the display problem. I deleted my installed version of FSUIPC (4.971) and installed FSUIPC 5.132.
Now the two screen set-up works perfectly!
Thank you very much for the time and trouble that you have taken to help me over this issue.
