Hello people!
I have follow problem:
I'm using P3D v4.2 with Win10 64-bit 1803 and Nvidia driver 391.35 (Geforce 1080Ti)
After updating to any newer nvidia driver version, I notice strong stutter. It occurs with all drivers later then 391.35.
I tried any to fix but no chance. It would nice to know, what is changed in this version and responsible for stutter.
PS:
I'm using G.Sync, but I checked G.Sync is on every time also with new drivers and in P3D.
P3D 4.2 Stutter with nvidia drivers greater than 391.35
Re: P3D 4.2 Stutter with nvidia drivers greater than 391.35
I was having graphic issues as well, but they were from continual errors with my graphics engine, so I went back to the following driver:397.64-desktop-win10-64bit-international-whql it is working for both my g-sync and graphics engine.
Re: P3D 4.2 Stutter with nvidia drivers greater than 391.35
I have used these Nvidia drivers without problems:
FS9.1 (only on a second PC now) with Win7-64 Professional / GTX550Ti 1GB
FSX Accel, P3Dv3.4, P3Dv4.2, Xplane11 (on my main sim PC) with Win7-64 Professional / GTX960 4GB
388.71 (and previous drivers)
390.77
391.24
391.35 (FS9 currently using)
397.64
397.93
398.11

Similar to Vaughan, I'm using 394.64 without any issues and certainly not a stutter or unusual long frame behavior (long frames are always there due to scenery object loading... different subject).

I'm thinking of downloading back again driver 397.64 never had a problem and worked very nicely … ultimately all these updates only give us problems...
Re: P3D 4.2 Stutter with nvidia drivers greater than 391.35
I am now using 398.36 (newest version) and no problems.

The Golden Rule of Drivers.. If It Ain't Broke, Don't Fix It . My mistake was that I did the GPU driver update..I'm goin back to 397.64 to calm down.. enough BS with all these problems..
