Maybe I will add a specification, it will be easier to evaluate:

Latest 7th Gen. Intel® Core™ i7 processor
Windows 10 Enterprise
GeForce® GTX 1050 Ti 4 GB GDDR5.
17.3" Full HD (1920x1080), 120 Hz Refresh Rate and 3ms response time panel (Optional)
17.3" Full HD (1920x1080), IPS level panel (Optional)
17.3" UHD (3840x2160), IPS level panel, 100% Adobe RGB (Optional)

It will work, todays laptop with a GPU not using shared memory usually have enough power to run P3D. There is however a big BUT: thermal throttling. As you might know, even in P3Dv4 the load on the CPU is still immense, now also increased the load on the GPU. Means: while based on the pure specs the CPU and GPU of a laptop might be sufficient, it does not take into account that after 10-20 Minutes under full load, you will experience most probably thermal throttling of both CPU and GPU resulting in wastly reduced performance. There was a nice short text of M.Kok in the AS Forums regarding this, short version:

Just think about todays desktop computers: huge cooler with fans for the CPU, huge cooling solution for the GPU, fan for the PSU and in most cases, also one, two or three fans blowing fresh air into the case. Now compare that to the laptop and think about thermal throttling again...
