Question about RAM memory

Post by racketyjack »

I have 32 GB DDR4 2400 (1200mhz) memory installed. I noticed the website says it recommends 2400mhz. Did they mean 2400 MHz or DDR-2400. And if 2400 MHz, would my 1200 MHz be too slow? Would the sim work with it? Thank you for your time.

Quick question, shouldn't take too long to answer.

Ye, that requirement doesn't even come close to making sense.

OP, it's likely that your memory runs in dual-channel. So that's 2x1200 = 2400Mhz. Wich should be fine.

It runs fine with DDR3 1600mhz 7-8-8-24 memory.
