Hi I want to build a new pc to run mainly p3d

I currently have
Operating System
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP1
CPU
Intel Core i5 4570 @ 3.20GHz 36 °C
Haswell 22nm Technology
RAM
8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 799MHz (11-11-11-28)
Motherboard
Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. Z97-HD3 (SOCKET 0) 27 °C
Graphics
LT-32DX7 (1600x900@29Hz)
2048MB ATI AMD Radeon R9 200 Series (XFX Pine Group) 29 °C
Storage
931GB Seagate ST1000DM 003-1CH162 SCSI Disk Device (SATA) 28 °C
Optical Drives
PIONEER BD-ROM BDC-207 SCSI CdRom Device
Audio
AMD High Definition Audio Device

I was thinking of buying a Ryzen 1600 for my cpu and for the graphics card either 1060 gtx or a amd 480. But I am very new at building my own pc, my current build was made by a friend, 4 years ago.

I'm in the uk and my budget can stretch to £500-£600

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Buying an i7-....k (and overclock it carefully) a air good cooler, a GTX1070/1060 (a used 980ti would do the trick too) and a SSD on your current plattform should give the best bang for your buck and a decent boost on peprformance. I would guess something around 15 to 20% depending on settings and addons. Building a complete new platform with such little money won't give you more performance than you get now because would replace one mediocre system with another and you'd spend half your money on motherboard and RAM which don't contribute to performance at that performance level.
