VAS Monitoring

Post by aconstable »

Can Someone tell me of a way to monitoring VAS,I have seen a device that sits on the upper left hand frame that monitors VAS along with Framerates. Anyone who knows where I can get one I would be very grateful.

Thanks Alan

Hi all
If anyone is interested, you can Monitor VAS in FSUIPC.comes up in the top left hand toolbar or you can have it displayed in your window. Toolbar is more neater!

Thanks Joe

Do you know of the limits with VASS before you get a OOM?

Thanks

The limit is 4Gig, but as you progress through the flight some is released and some is added, now say you have 1Gig left available and you load 800M ..you are OK, but if you have 1G available and try to load 1.2G you OOM...then as you see there is no fix max or min..

Thanks Alan

You can use perfmon.exe to do that:

1. Make sure P3D is running
2. Click Start - Run and enter perfmon.exe
3. Add the counter Process\Virtual Bytes for the Prepar3D.exe instance
4. Scale the counter and customize the graph as appropriate

Hope this helps
