If you refer to the Flight Instrument Panels (those with a display for gauges) I have 9 of the guys working in P3D3 with the most recent Saitek drivers. This is in a networked configuration via Simconnect. I didn't try to run them locally on the FS computer as I prefer the networked configuration because of performance reasons.

Kind regards, Michael

v3 now not even emulate full screen mod, so is only look like full screen, so if ip wont work in windows, with no dx/ogl full screen, it wont work in v3, till use profiler, or whatever software what activate some fonction everywhere, forexample ministick work with no profiler only in 2.5 and all other simulators, now when profiler started it work even in naked desktop, do not think is helpful, but who know...

I have the same problem. New saitek controllers are not enough for solving. Any solution?

SOLVED
I copy the exe.xml file from my original P3D V1.4 (that dont exist on p3d v3) which call and enable only the plugin for saitek instrument panels (Saitekflightsim.exe) didnt use the original that exist on Appdat @ FSX folder cause it enable much more things for FSX.exe that are not currently installed on my p3d v3.
Here is the copy of the text on that exe.xml (will be activated after launching P3D V3.exe if you put it on p3d v3 App data folder):

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="WINDOWS-1252"?>

-<SimBase.Document version="1,0" Type="Launch">

<Descr>Launch</Descr>

<Filename>exe.xml</Filename>

<Disabled>False</Disabled>

<Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad>

-<Launch.Addon>

<Name>Saitek Panel(s) Plugin for FSX</Name>

<Disabled>False</Disabled>

<Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\Saitek\ProFlight FSX Plugin\SaiFlightSimX.exe</Path>

<CommandLine>-run</CommandLine>

</Launch.Addon>

</SimBase.Document>
All the FIPs panels launch and work nice and easy
If you dont have any exe.xml you can edit one using the text mentioned above, or editng your current fsx. exe. XML.

it seems that p3d no longer needs any exe.xml file on its app data folder with the exception of comunications with external hardware and or applications.
If not wait for the saitek p3d v3 pluggin (not listed on saitek downloads still, just for p3d v2.x.

Hope it helps for all
Cheers

I copied my " exe.xml " from my p3dv2.4 to the folder where the CFG file of P3Dv3 is . Now, Saitek panels and Saitek FIPS work very well .

This is my exe.xml file:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>
<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">
<Descr>Launch</Descr>
<Filename>exe.xml</Filename>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad>

<Launch.Addon>
<Name>Saitek Panel(s) Plugin for FSX</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\Saitek\Pro Flight Panels\SaiPanels.exe</Path>
<CommandLine>-run</CommandLine>
</Launch.Addon>

<Launch.Addon>
<Name>Saitek DirectOutput RadioStack</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>C:\Program Files (x86)\Saitek\DirectOutput\SaiFlightSimX.exe</Path>
<CommandLine>-run</CommandLine>
</Launch.Addon>

</SimBase.Document>

Sorry, but I cannot find neither the "CFG file of P3Dv3" nor "p3d v3 App data folder" of the previous message, to include these suggested code lines. SPAD solution worked for me when I installed SPAD, but never more...Please, help!!! Thanks in advance.

"Prepar3D.cfg" is in:
C:\Users\XXXXXXX\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3

when XXXXXXX is your user name.

"exe.xml" file has to be in the same folder.

SaiFlightSimX and SaiPanels.exe are installed when you install the Saitek drivers

Hello. I have copied your code paragraphs in .exe file, by editing it with wordpad and nothing happens...except that when Prepar3d gets closed an error message appears and such lines get erased automatically...am I doing the right thing? Thank you very much

Hi,

Saitek changed the path to the drivers a few monts ago. The path for the (I think two) most recent driver versions is

C:\Program Files (x86)\Saitek\ProFlight FSX Plugin\SaiFlightSimX.exe

Kind regards, Michael

Hello:

I created a new exe.xml file in the folder C:\Users\Juan Carlos\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3 with this content:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="Windows-1252"?>
<SimBase.Document Type="Launch" version="1,0">
<Descr>Launch</Descr>
<Filename>exe.xml</Filename>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Launch.ManualLoad>False</Launch.ManualLoad>

<Launch.Addon>
<Name>Saitek Panel(s) Plugin for FSX</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>C:\Archivos de programa (x86)\Saitek\Pro Flight Panels\SaiPanels.exe</Path>
<CommandLine>-run</CommandLine>
</Launch.Addon>

<Launch.Addon>
<Name>Saitek DirectOutput RadioStack</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<Path>C:\Archivos de programa (x86)\Saitek\DirectOutput\SaiFlightSimX.exe</Path>
<CommandLine>-run</CommandLine>
</Launch.Addon>

</SimBase.Document>

Nothing happens when I launch PREPAR3D...

What am I doing wrongly???

Thank you indeed.

What are you expecting to happend??

To ensure the exe's are run add in your exe.xml after the Disabled... line this line <ManualLoad>true</ManualLoad>
this will ask you if it should be run when you start P3D ..if it does not ...well something wrong with your exe.xml...
sintax is very important .
