I've bought Prepar3D v4.5 a few days ago and I wanted to set some new Key Assignments and I wanted to turn off the tips.
But when I clicked on the settings button in the menu at the beginning after startin P3d as an Administrator, P3D is starting and loading the standard situation in the feighter. When I have loaded an Airplanen and then clicked in the menu bar on top on settings, the Sim crashed.
I've also tried to reinstall it but the same problem occured.
Would be nice to solve the Problem and sorry for my bad English:)

What are your PC specs?
Have you used other flight sims ?
What type of crash are you having?
Befor p3dv4.5 I've used v3. Everything works fine but after buying v4.5 got those named problems. I did not get any crash messages... only the sim is closing after loading in a black screen and that's it...

Befor p3dv4.5 I've used v3. Everything works fine but after buying v4.5 got those named problems. I did not get any crash messages... only the sim is closing after loading in a black screen and that's it...

No, p3d v3 is deinstalled.
And yes the, normal scenario as you said is loading

Which OS are you using?
When you downloaded P3Dv4 did you verify the Checksum of the ZIP file before installing P3D?
