[RESOLVED] Missing Lake Michigan

Something has happened to the water textures for Lake Michigan. The screenshot shows landscape and city textures where the lake should be. I disabled my Illinois Megascenery and Orbx OpenLC North America but the problem must be with the P3D default scenery.

Flying over missing Lake Michigan

One of your addons has excluded the lake hydro-poly.

Uninstal all of your addons then install them one at a time until you find the culprit.

I turned on my computer today and started P3Dv4.5 and now all my base scenery is black. I installed REX Sky Force and REX Environment Force yesterday. I wonder if that's causing the problems.

Well, I uninstalled Sky Force and Environment Force and most of my scenery seems back to normal. However, all the Great Lakes as well as the Great Salt Lake are still corrupted. I checked a few other lakes, Lake Pontchatrain in New Orleans, Hudson Lake, Lake Tahoe, Jackson Lake WY are all ok. I hope I don't have to do a complete reinstall.

Is there a way to reinstall the default scenery without reinstalling the whole program?

You could try un installing then reinstalling the Scenery part of P3D4.5 (take it you are using 4.5?) and see if that helps ...it helped me with a texture issue i had ... just make sure you read up on the correct procedure.

I uninstalled then reinstalled the scenery component but I still have the same problem. Looks like the only solution is a complete reinstall.

I did a complete reinstall of P3D and when I added all my scenery the problem was still there. I started disabling different sceneries and discovered that Orbx Global Vector is causing the problem.

I was able to fix the problem using FTX Central-Verify Files
