APX and OBX file issues since P3D V4.1

Post by sharmes6 »

Hi,

Over the past few months I have come across a few issues with some default APX files, which I think became corrupted somehow in P3D V4.1.

I have seen one APX file already mentioned several times in these forums, and I read that you (LM) are aware of it and working on an update (APX26210.bgl which contains AFCADs for KJAX and surrounding airports).

Another one which seemed to have issues, which I and others resolved by replacing the files from P3D V4.0 or P3D V3.4, were the files containing YBUD and YGLA airports. It seemed like the APX and OBX files had issues.

YBUD - We found that replacing the OBX file (OBX88400.bgl) with the equivalent file from P3D V4.0 or P3D V3.4 was the only way to remove default objects from the ORBX version of YBUD.

YGLA - Replacing the APX88400.bgl file with the equivalent file from P3D V4.0 or P3D V3.4 was the only way to solve elevation issues.

Hey,

The issues you listed should be fixed in v4.3. Can you update to the current version and let us know if that fixes the problem for you?
If not, please post images so we can help you further.

Regards,
Spence
