Problems in Prepar3D V4 - Below minimum requirements

Post by Jon747 »

Good day.

To whom it May concern:

I am writing to you, since I need your help. I have problems with Prepar3D V4, I registered on Monday.

Download the complete file kit, everything turned out perfectly until the moment you start the Game.

The moment I start the game, he throws me a message, he says:
This device (Intel (R) HD Graphics) does not appear to support Directx11, and will attempt to use Directx10. Some features will not work. Click help for more information or ignore to prevent this warning from displaying again.

By pressing the "OK" button, it shows me the game menu correctly.

When I finish selecting Vehicle, location, and other parameters, I press the "Ok" button, to start the simulator.

And that's when the problem arises, when you finish loading 100%, start the simulator but the screen remains black. It shows me the configuration menus, pause and menus for a new scenario, exit Prepar3D, etc, even the audio is heard.

The problem is that he never visualizes the terrain. All the time the screen remains black.

Before buying the product, check the requirements to ensure that my computer complies with them.
The product calls for a minimum of 4GB in RAM, of which if you have my computer. Also ask for 40GB hard drive with at least 15GB in "C: \", my hard drive is 1TB. And DirectX11 support, with which I count.

I think the problem is because the game doesn't recognize Directx11 on my computer. But I don't want to think that, that's why I would like them to help me in what I have to do, or if I'm making some mistake.

I also send screens of the specifications with which my computer counts.

The game installs it as an administrator and changes it to "C: \", which is what I read in some section of its forum.I was reviewing the publications in the P3D forum, as well as the frequently asked questions, and I can't find my case anywhere.

In advance, I thank you very much for your help, and I look forward to your prompt news.

Regards, Jonathan.

Hi Jon,

Unfortunately your graphics card does not meet minimum specifications. 2 GB of dedicated graphics memory is required with 8 GB recommended. Your card has only 64 MB of dedicated graphics memory with 1632 MB shared. This is actually system memory that can be shared to the graphics card and is slower than dedicated graphics memory.

You might check with HP to see if you can add a video card, I'm not sure if your system is a laptop or a desktop and is even capable of hardware upgrades due to its age. Give that a half life of a computer is 5 years, I'd say your's is becoming obsolete.
