[RESOLVED] P3d V4 crash after about 30-40 minutes

Hello everybody

I have reinstalled the p3d V4.

Unfortunately, I have the problem that this me after about 30-40 minutes always crashes.

It starts with suddenly with printmakers and sound problems. Then the picture remains allright and I must finish the P3D.

I use the latest version with FSUIPC 5 as well as Prosim 737 and Warpalizer for my Curved Screen.

For help I would be very glad.

I'd recommend trying Prepar3D without add-ons and add them back in until you see which one may be causing your crash.

Thank you very much for your answer.
I have also read this Therad. And I had the feeling that it was different with Me.
Can be synonymous but that I misunderstood, because I have to work with Google Translator.
For me it starts jergend like with a sound problem. It starts to stutter and then everything stands still. At the V3 I could have the ATC sound also on my headphones, since I have connected via a USB sound card. I can select this in the V4 but there is nothing to be heard. I have the whole PC re-set up and the P3D on a separate SSD with the Addons.

I will however gladly all my addons once and switch off before again. What I forgot to mention. The Taskmanager and the Taskleiste I can then no longer call up and I must make a hard PC restart over the Power button. Win 10 is with the Cortana in operation with me by the way.

I had the exact same problem which I ultimately traced to FSUIPC 5. Uninstalled and removed the Modules folder from the P3D root seems to have fixed it for me. Seems there are some compatibility issues with FSUIPC and P3Dv4 at the moment.

Hello everybody,

As it looks, it really is a sound card problem.
I have my USB sound card (manufacturer Renkforce) pulled out and since then I have no more crash of P3D V4 had.

Is working on a solution to this problem?

I like the sound from the ATC over the headphones.

Is the crash happening with the latest hotfix installed?

If the hotfix is not installed, you should try installing it and see if that fixes the issue.

Unfortunately I have to correct myself.

I just had a strange crash again without any error. The simulator suddenly launched a dive and then blown the picture. Sound went on without problems.

But I could not evoke the taskbar and task manager.

Yes, I installed the latest hotfix yesterday. But not a whole new installation.

Have you tried removing the add-ons? Does the crash still occur without them?

Is it enough if I simply deactivate the addons in the Scenery library? So remove the hoes there?

Some add-ons may still cause issues even when they are not activate, so it is recommended to uninstall them and see if that fixes the issue. You can add them back in one by one to find out which one it is.

Okey. Then I will however the hard drive equal formatting and the P3D again completely install.

Hello everybody
I have now painstakingly re-set my PC and reinstalled the P3D with the hotfix 1.

Until now, I had no more crashes from the P3D V4.

Ev. When updating from the hotfix 1 what went wrong with the time at the time with me.


However, I am still not finished with testing. There is still a test with Prosim, FSUIPC5 with WideFS.

But that it is an addon, I could at least exclude so far.

Hello everybody

I have now tested everything.
As far as everything works synonymous perfectly.

But I have a new problem, which was already mentioned here in the forum.

Although I like the other ruckler after a flight of 3-4 hours. Also the textures are no longer loaded and the frams fall below 0.6 and so on.

What can this be?
