IF you have a fast machine and no add ons you may or may not notice this. I have ORBX and if I fly even from a default airport, I see a hit on my frame rates if flying the F35. Compare that with the F22 or F16, and the sim is very smooth.
I installed the Kennedy airport by FSDreamTeam and I am getting 9 frames. I changed my aircraft to F22 and I went to 20 +. My brother confirmed on his machine that he is seeing the same thing.
F-35 is a frame rate killer
Re: F-35 is a frame rate killer
ORBX isn't supported with v4 yet?

Re: F-35 is a frame rate killer
Hi Oahmed,
Every aircraft can affect performance in different ways. We do have a slight change in an upcoming hotfix that will possibility improve the F-35, but could you explain your system a little more - what CPU and GPU are you using?
Regards,
Adam

I have an i7 -3930K overclocked to 4.2 GHz.
Motherboard is an ASrock X79 Extreme 4M
32 GB Ram DDR3 Corsair
EVGA GTX 1070 (latest drivers) (Its one of those super clocked cards that come a bit overclocked from EVGA. I did not tinker with it)
My brother who has a 1080 ti said he saw about 10 frame rate drops as well when he switched to the F35. The YF22 or the f16 perform v. well.
