Prepar3D v4.3 CTD everytime

Post by Miggel »

Hello everybody

Since my transition to P3D V4.3 I have always crashes, sometimes without event display (error messages) or partly with. I even reinstalled Windows and Prepar 3D v4.3 several times. Slowly, I really despair. At the moment I only have the FSLabs and Aerosoft Zurich V2 (with update) running. The only programs I open during the flight are: SmartCARS, AS16 + ASCA, IVAP.

My System:
  • Microsoft Windows 10 Home Version 10.0.17134 Build 17134
  • Systemtyp: x64 PC
  • Graphic: GTX 1050 Ti
  • Prozessor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8600K CPU @ 3.60GHz, 3600 MHz, 6 Kern(e), 6 logische(r) Prozessor(en)
  • RAM: 16.0 GB

Hello,

To have us assist you further, could you please review this topic and let us know the results from following the troubleshooting steps? Also, can you provide the details of your system?

If the issue is determined to be caused by an add-on, you will likely want to reach out to the add-on developer for direct support. If they need any support with development, they should not hesitate to contact us.

Hello Miggel

The KERNELBASE error can be caused by many situations like an unstable system or even an Add On triggering this error.

Try these one by one and test Prepar3D as you go along

1) Try updating or reinstalling your graphics driver to the latest build. Maybe use a driver cleaning Utility like DDU (Driver Display Uninstaller) to remove the old driver and then process to reinstall the driver.

---

2) Have you manually Overclocked your system ? If so, return the overclock to a default state and test Prepar3D again.

---

3) You have removed the Generated Files and then tested Prepar3D ?

---

4) Run the The System File Checker, Its a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files

For a guide to use this tool Click Here

---

5) To eliminate a corrupt windows user Account...

Temporarily Create another Windows User Account with Admin privileges, Sign into this new account and then launch Prepar3D and test

Try these steps and let me know how you get on
