trying to update to 4.2 from 4.1

HI all, i'm having problems with the site again. I have tried to log in to update i put my email in and no emails come through. If i send a problem i get the replies to my email. I have even tryed to re register my email and that was no good because i license is not there. I have a license number which i put in it says email found then nothing has anyone else had this issue?
