[RESOLVED] P3D crashes after hotfix install...

I am a latecomer to install the 4.5 hotfix today and as soon as i open P3D as an admin the logo P3D just shows up and then disappears. Did a client uninstall of 4.5 with windows uninstaller and then downloaded the last version after having deactivated the windows antivirus. Installed uneventfully the hotfix but it wont start as described! I guess the cure to it is now by now? I must not be alone?

Just wondering , do you have any add ons installed that may need to be updated to work with 4.5? there was an issue with the WX Advantage Radar and this caused 4.5 not to work , theWX radar was updated shortly after to work with 4.5

Yes, whatever add-ons you have, you should verify that they (all of them) are v. 4.5 compatible, and update if an update is available from the manufacturer.

Re-installed client a second time and it does not crash anymore on launching, but noew i do not anymore find my saved flights and i am unable to save a new one?

If the issue is determined to be caused by an add-on, you will likely want to reach out to the add-on developer for direct support. If they need any support with development, they should not hesitate to contact us.

Many thanks for your help, it opens now normally and no crash, effectively I had to update several addons, it confirms again that it is paramount to have every addon up to date!
