Stuck at Generating Database 100%

Post by bhorv67 »

Out of nowhere, p3d is now getting stuck at launch. The progress bar for Generating Database for scenery files gets to 100% and nothing else happens.
Process viewer has some odd entries about windows, java, nvidia, and some other random things after everything else loads.

I tried a full repair, deleted the p3d.cfg, and still getting the same result.

Went from having a perfectly running sim to nothing overnight. I haven't installed anything, or made any changes. There's also not been any windows updates I can find.

Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.

Deleting generated files allowed p3d to run, so there's a corrupted add-on somewhere.

Geez, needle in a haystack

Issue is resolved.

After an extensive search for the culprit, it turned out to be some corrupted ORBX scenery.

I'm unable to download the scenery again, as my FTX central is in 'pause' mode, and won't download anything.
