sub-window for instruments

Post by royp »

I would like to have a sub-window that only shows basic 2D instruments (knots, turn coordinator, artificial horizon, compass, altitude, rate of climb). I would like to be able to have this sub-window no matter what instruments are programmed into the 2D instruments of the model. Is this possible? Can I build my own basic panel and have it show up in a sub-window?

p.s. I would attach an example but attachments aren't allowed in this forum.

Probably the best way to do this would be to use a panel editor such as FSPanel Studio.
I have a copy and want to do the same thing but so far haven't got too far into it. But there are for sure times when I want a custom panel.

I use an application called Air Manager. It has some pre-made free panels, payware panels and over 600 individual instruments so you can make your own panels. You can also make your own instruments if you so desire. Here's the link to their webpage.

And here's a pic of my Beechcraft Duke main panel.
