I'm including a video of what happens so yall can see it.... but
I load P3D.
I go to pick my plane

Re: P3D v4.1 default flight load error
Hello Jon
Try this.........
Delete these 2 files at the location below Prepar3D_Default.fxml and Prepar3D_Default.wx
Both of these files are generated files and will generate again as default when Prepar3D is launched next.
This will not effect your settings or 3rd party software (Add On's)
Local Disk (C:) ► Users ► You ► AppData ►Local ► Lockheed Martin ► Prepar3D v4
A quick way of locating these files........
Copy the TEX below and Paste it into your Windows search bar and click on the result, This will bring you directly to the correct location
Delete the 2 files above and then Launch Prepar3D as Administrator and test.
Let us know how you get on

Re: P3D v4.1 default flight load error
Same results. I did find that if I uncheck the "show at startup" for the "Scenario" screen the sim loads directly into default flight and works fine. I can select a plane and airport from there. As soon as I have the "Scenario" screen come up it causes issues.

Hello Jon
You have many Add On's so we will take small steps and hopefully this next one will resolve your Issue
This will not effect your Add On's.
Delete the following 3 files at the location below, Prepar3D.cfg, UISettings.xml and the VehicleFavorites.xml file

Re: P3D v4.1 default flight load error
Poppet you are a darn wizard. I removed those 3 files and loaded in. All seems to be working fine again.
I bow to your almighty powers.
Thank you very much,
Jon
