P3D v4.1 CTD at screen switch

I had several times a CTD when I switch the mouse from the second monitor to the primary monitor (where P3D runs), this evening again.
I could not find anything in the windows logs about it and also P3D gave me no error message, just frozen and then closed itself.
I thought this was fixed in 4.1...
(using win 10 Pro, i9-7900x, GTX 1080 Ti FTW3, 32GB ram, several addons)

Hello,

We are investigating a crash that can occur when Prepar3D is used across multiple monitors. Can you provide a little more detail so we can narrow down if this is the same issue or something else?
Are you running Prepar3D on both monitors when this occurs? Is this happening when moving a view to another screen? Also what add-ons are currently installed?

I am using the P3D in windowed mode only on the primary screen (4K). On secondary I run usually all the other stuff (1080p monitor).
I do not move any view, just the mouse from one monitor back to primary where P3D 4.1 runs.

I am using i9-7900X @4.5Ghz (all cores, HT off) and the 1080TI FTW3 clocks itself till 1950Mhz.
As addons, PMDG, FSLabs, Majestic, Aerosoft CRJ, Orbx, Chaseplane, AS16+ASCA, PTA 2.60, Envtex, FSUIPC5 and different airports. I am running the sim at 4K, Vsync off, frames unlimited, 8xMSAA, 16x filtering, most the of the sliders to the max, except boxes for shadows and the autogen stuff. DL is also ON, no dynamic reflections.
Is there a P3D log which I should check? Cause I got no error message, just CTD, in Event Viewer is nothing special at the time when CTD occured.

Hi Valir and Rob,

I am having similar issues. I created a post about it here with a detailed description and some crash reports.

I too use P3D in "full-screen" on one monitor, and use the other monitor for charts, web etc.

I'm having the same problem too. No error message or anything, it just quits.

I'm using a 1080 monitor for the visuals, and an old 1280x1024 monitor for undocked gauges, using windowed mode(fullscreen windowed mode).
I was flying, when I switched the view back to the cockpit, took a few minutes with the frozen screen and then CTD with no warnings.

Today, it happened 2 times again (and I was trying to do the last Air Berlin flight, on Vatsim and at second try offline..)
So so frustrating.
Event viewer (for second CTD, at first I had no error registered, just crashed):
At this CTD, I was scrolling on flightradar24 on the other monitor and I noticed a little stutter on flightradar24 map scroll. P3D was then frozen and then closed with:
