Does Reverting To Older nVidia Driver Break Update 3.4.22.19868?

Post by maxam »

Does Reverting To Older nVidia Driver Break Update 3.4.22.19868, and how? The instructions on the latest news page state to update driver, what happens if driver is causing crashes in an addon and dev states that everyone remain on an older driver until further notice? in this case it was Lefteris at FSL for their A320 addon stating that everyone should remain on 376.33

If using NVIDIA hardware, please ensure your graphic card drivers are updated to at least 378.49 before updating to Prepar3D v3.4.22.19868.

I am trying to figure out the benefits of updating a driver prior to updating P3D, is this solely for SLI improvement in this case?

I reverted to NVidia 376.53.

P3D 3.4.22.19868 still works without any issues.

I'm not using SLI, just a single GTX 580.

I'm using 372.06 with SLI and 3.4.22.19868 with no issues.
