3.1 water / ultra / seaplanes = impossible

8 kt wind here with custom weather just to show how insane this is....

I'm unable to takeoff with this setting. High fixes it but deletes the cool water tessellation features!

I'm afraid you can't take-off, due to the distracting background noise.

I wonder whether this is due to P3D new vawes rendering or to the behaviour model (can't say flight model here :) ) of the aircraft which has to be re-designed. The physics of pitching in the waves seems unnatural in your clip, not the waves.

Larry Robinson has brought this to my attention relative to AI vessels. I have applied this to the Mallard and Amphibs and it works.

Add this statement to the [Contact Points] section of the aircraft.cfg

always_use_avg_surface=1
