[RESOLVED] v3 vas memory doesnt release anymore

Hy when i fly out of an airport and fly for example overwater the memory doesnt go up anymore.
It's decreasing instead.
I never had that problem in the beginning.
When i flew the first time few weeks ago, when i flewed out of the airport the memory goes all the way up and releases it all the way.
I have only selected the departure and arrival airport in scenery library.

Now i have to restart my sim everytime when i approach an airport just like the old days.
What could it be, i have set texture max load 1024 and sliders all the way middle and left..

The first question that comes to mind is exactly how are you measuring your VAS?

its not normal with these low settings that i have OOM i think
Only thing i have done is turning hyperthreading on in bios, maybe related?

Two things come to my mind
! what problem are you getting OOM? a crash? what is in the event log??
2.If you suspect HT, have you removed it??

No no crash or anything just my vas memory decreases very rapidly if there is a memory leak.

I have hyperthreading turned off and now its releasing memory like it should.

This is very strange and LM should now this.
HT off vas release HT on is no vas release.

Has anybody confirmed the HT thing yet? I'm having release issues as well - with HT on will now try turning it off.

yes very important finding, i have turned HT off for now, not so smooth and high loads on the cpu buth temporarely solution.

HT- off is no solution at all. Now approaching VIE from IAD with 3.5 gb of used VAS space @FL370 - I don't think I'm gonna make it. Huge disappointment to be honest.

me too yesterday HT off , from nice to jfk ;; had to reload 4 times because vas ,just like the old days.
im gonna install xpl 10 now. 6 years ago we had the same discussions in this thread,and it will be last untill there is 64 bit or a solution to permanently releasing memory in 32 bit
im at the point that flightsimming is not fun anymore because of this.

Edited after some testing.. I did a scenario 2 times with HT on and 2 times without HT

VAS at end of flight with HT was 2.7GB
VAS at end of flight without HT was 2.2GB

Another thing I noticed whilst testing was that FPS was slightly better without HT

I'm really eager to know what the issue truly is - whether it's my/our machine or P3D itself. Does anybody have any ideas or approaches to this?
