I`m new to the SDK and trying to create a gauge. When I run cabdir.exe it shows a series of instructions and requests to press any key to continue. When I do this the application closes. Could anyone point out a solution please?

My CABDIR.exe recently stopped working in Windows 10 latest update.
I ran the "Troubleshoot compatibility" with the "right click" on the CABDIR file.
Selected "Troubleshoot program"
Selected "Program worked in previous versions"
Selected Windows XP
Tested CABDIR
Kept the Windows changes
CABDIR now worked
