which one is the server in a remote control case?

which one is the server in a remote control case?

Post by ppp333ddd_ »

Hi,
My application and P3D are installed on different PCs. The application does some reading and writing to P3D using SimConnect. I have read "SimConnect Configuration" page in the SDK. When it describes SimConnect Client Configuration, it says:"...if a client is going to access Prepar3D running on a remote machine..." Seems it means the PC that has P3D installed is the server. But I am thinking that the PC running my application is the server since it is using SimConnect.dll. I am quite confused about which PC is the server and which is the client. I appreciate any help.
