Crash related to programmatic gauge

Post by obinder »

Hello @ll,

I am experiencing another strange issue here. In my products I have a total of three different programmatic (GDI+) gauges. All have been successfully converted to 64bit and all work well in the simulator.

But with one of them I am having the following problem:

- I am loding the sim into the scenario config screen.
- I select the aircraft that has the gauge in its panel.cfg
- When I press "OK", I get the message "Do you really want to exit Prepar3D?".
- If I then select "No", the simulator tries to load, but it crashes with a reference to "atc.dll" in the event log.

If I don't select that aircraft but another one, the sim loads just fine. I can switch to the one containing the gauge when the simulation has finished loading everything, and there are no issues - neither with the aircraft, nor with the gauge or the sim.

Did anyone else encounter this and can point me to a solution? I suspect a pointer reference issue, but I can't for the life of me find any difference to the other two gauges which work perfectly in every situation.

Many thanks in advance and best regards
Oliver Binder
