P3Dv4: Trouble with start locations on platforms

Post by LimeSim »

I'm currently having the following problem in the latest version of P3D V4 concerning mostly my US Cities X series:

For most elevated start locations I choose (rooftop helipads, 3D terrain), the aircraft is positioned on the actual terrain below the given altitude of the start location and not on the 3D platform.
There are locations where this never happens and there are others where I barely get the aircraft to start at the actually given elevation of the start point and the platform. In total that leaves 100-200 helipads that are not working in P3D while they work perfectly in FSX.

Hello Sascha,

We've identified the issue regarding airport start points. Start point elevation will be taken into account with the next release.

Thanks!
