P3D.exe crash always over London area

Post by Daniel_VIE »

Hey guys,

I always get a P3D.exe crash when flying overhead the london area. Shouldn´t be an aircraft issue because i had this already with the FSlabs and the CS 767. It´s the same when departing out of any London airportmostly after approx 5 minutes after T/O the crash happens.

Folllowing add-ons are installed:

FS Global
ORBX Global
ORBX EU LC
ORBX Vector
ORBX Trees & Buildings
Aerosoft Heathrow Pro
UK 2000 Luton
Chaseplane

System:

Intel I7 9700K
32GBs RAM Corsair Dominator
Nvidia RTX2080ti

And that´s the Windows error message. (translated from german-english)

The Prepar3D.exe program version 5.1.12.26829 has stopped interacting with Windows and has been closed. Check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel to look for more information about the problem.
Process ID: 3008
Start time: 01d713ec6cdcebc4
Exit time: 32
Application path: F:\P3D\Prepar3D.exe
Bericht-ID: c9d29142-fe28-4b78-8f5f-391e9c76a07e
Full name of the corrupted package:
Relative application ID of the corrupted package:
Crash type: Unknown

Thank you!

What is in Windows Event Viewer at the time of the crash? That is the information we need.

In Event Viewer, under Windows Logs/Application, there should be an entry titled "Error" at the time of the crash.

What you posted does not look like that entry, that is why I asked.

Now it is getting "interesting".... I cannot remember having seen one like that.

What happens if you uninstall Chaseplane and/or Heathrow and/or Luton?

Currently not on my pc - but i installed Heathrow few days ago, and it happened already before. So - if the scenery is the problem, it must be Luton... let´s see when i´m back home..

Thank you!

Maybe ask the UK2000 guys about this also, they are pretty good at support.

Ok, i deleted the p3d.cfg and deactivated Luton... for now it seems fine. Holding over UMLAT for 10 minutes now without crashing. Let´s see.

If it turns out that Luton is the cause, then I am certain that the UK2000 guys will want to hear about this.

I have many of their products for FSX and P3D v. 4, and have always found them helpful.

I will try and error tomorrow with Luton activated again. Let´s see. If there is no doubt, i will let them know - of course :-)

Thanks for your help so far!
