Would like to know if this file is a stock effect file for P3D V3.4
fx_tchdwn_x.fx <<< wonder what this file is for?

Also, is there a way I can find out what the basic effect files are for P3D V3.4?

Butch that fx file has been there since FSX dated 2006, to find what each effect does , you can have a guess by the name or play it..
