Crash! Client not plane :-) Will this have an effect on future FPS?

Post by kieran747 »

Hey I have a dumb question,

So I was making my way to KJFK, I was flying the PMDG 747 and my sim crashed. Ever since that crash I have noticed that on that particulate aircraft my frames have been low.

Will a crash effect or corrupt an aircraft file? Like I said a dumb question but, just in case it is I though I would ask.
I'm probably looking and finding something that isn't really there :-)

Thanks Kieran

It may have damaged some files , do you start from a saved flight ?, if so delete the saved flight and try , also make a backup copy of your prepar3d.cfg (C:\Users\YOUR_USER_ID\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\prepar3d.cfg) and restart the SIM.
