OK, then my question is probably too naive, but what is the benefit of new development methods and abandoning the 'old' approach. Quality of image improvement ? Speed (FPS) - does not look so far ?
Many thanks

Re: Scenery Problem with bgl airport add-ons
Dear all, understanding all what is being repeated here. However, I have slightly different question on that. Assuming all developers will adjust to new methods and all sceneries will work well on new version of 3.3, will there be any significant benefit for user ? (quality of scenery ? system perfo...

Re: Scenery Problem at every airport
All arguments to support going forward and development of new technologies are fine. The problem is that no-one anticipated so big issue and temporary un-usable set-up (until all affected add-ons will be adjusted which can take many months). Would it be possible to do inventory of all what is not wo...

Re: Scenery Problem at every airport
Hello, I understand this is related to some missing part of sceneries done by old methods....).
How is it with reported OOMs ? Is it the same issue or it is different reason ?
many thanks

Re: What's changed in 3.3?
Hi, I upgraded client.msi part to 3.3 only. All seems to work well (one PC, one monitor). It seems however there is slightly less FPS on absolutely the same set-up and scenario... Is that possible (some complexity to the code added), or it is just something else what causes that...? Many thanks for ...

AI traffic - CPU
Dear all, I realized (and I guess it is a long-time valid truth since old FS9 code) that AI traffic eats a big portion of CPU. Even today when P3D code is very much optimised and a lot is moved to GPU the most FPS drop (at least in my case) is once more AI traffic is around. Big airports e.t.c.. In ...

[RESOLVED] Dynamic reflections
Dear all,
just a question to dynamic reflection set-up.
I understand it can be set-up only in p3d.cfg file (from 0 to 1).
Is there any significant impact on performance ? (FPS or GPU usage) ?
Many thanks for your experience !

p3d v 3.2 one step to perfection
Dear all, after installation of new version and many months of trying and tweaking I can say I am close to full satisfaction. My sliders usually one level bellow max. Performance is stable fps 20+ in heavy airports, 30+ in less heavy airports and cca 40+ during a flight. However, despite these good ...
