Re: P3D and Majestic Dash: Sound-Management in P3D
OK, I have recorded a short video of the Dash 8 Q400 on my Windows 10 test system with a freshly installed P3D v3.3 and Dash Q400 v1_019. There is definitely a hum when throttling up, but not as extreme as in your case. It could also be that I am not as close to the engines (I don't know how to get ...

Re: P3D and Majestic Dash: Sound-Management in P3D
You could try editing the mjc84.ini-file, which has plenty of modifiable sound parameters. I am no expert on what each parameter does (I don't have the clipping problem), but it looks like you can edit the volume among other things, and many parameters are documented.

Re: P3D and Majestic Dash: Sound-Management in P3D
Sorry, my question was pointless. It looks like the sound is controlled externally by Majestic Software and cannot be influenced by P3D's own sound settings.

Re: P3D and Majestic Dash: Sound-Management in P3D
Have you tried altering the audio volume settings in P3D?

Re: 3.4???
It has been the case that P3D was updated every 3 months. For example, P3D v3 was released in September 2015, v3.1 in December 2015, v3.2 in March 2016 and v3.3 in June 2016. If you follow this pattern, it is likely that a new version will be released in September this year, but no one can say for s...

Re: Delayed redrawing autogen buildings
Do you use any AffinityMask settings in your prepar3d.cfg? I has this phenomenon when I used this tweak; deleting it solved the issue.

Re: ATC window behind panel.
Have you tried to undock the ATC window? If not, give it a try by right-clicking on the ATC window and selecting the respective option.

Re: Some quick feedback...
That's quite interesting. I didn't think that using a newer generation CPU at an identical clock frequency would make such a big difference. Do you use any AffinityMask-tweaks with the new system, or are you using the default settings (no AM tweaks)? P.S.: Are you going to report your OC/stability p...

Re: Micro Stutter/Freezes with high CPU load (3.2)
A few questions:
- Are you using ORBX Vector and have every feature activated?
- Are you running Active Sky Next when you experience freezes?
It would also be useful to post your sim settings.

Re: FPS behavior during and out of Pause
Such a high FPA loss between pause and unpause is definitely not normal, especially if the display settings are low. On my system, even if I run heavy AI traffic at Chicago International Airport with moderate-high settings, I get about 50 FPS in paused mode and circa 30 FPS in unpaused mode.

Re: FPS behavior during and out of Pause
Do you have something to monitor your CPU loads while your sim is paused or unpaused? Could you also post your prepar3d.cfg and scenery.cfg so some of us can look at it?

Re: FPS behavior during and out of Pause
I would try deactivating the anti-virus program while you are running P3D and see if that helps.

Re: FPS behavior during and out of Pause
Hmm, something is indeed taking up your computer resources while you have your sim unpaused. If you had a massive amount of traffic running, that would explain the FPS disparity between paused and unpaused mode. But you stated already that you disabled your traffic, so it must be something else. Stu...

Re: V3 will NOT install
Airpatron, how did you edit the registry exactly? Could you provide a screenshot? I am asking because I know that it is easy to do it the wrong way. I also had it not correct the first time, but then I made the necessary adjustments, and it worked.
