V5.3 HF2 is a LOT better than the previous versions in controlling stuttering and pauses. I run it on unlimited and find it manages itself well.

I believe you can delete the file and have P3d rebuild the whole whole on next startup, and the moon should appear the correct size.

I would back up the file and just adjust the moon size to less than 600.

Did you neutralise the trim? If it is nose heavy it will take longer.
