Hi
I have the same error, missing terrain.cfg. There is no such file in my prepar3d directory but in FSX. The FTX Central 2 Beta is not missing this file. Maybe that this changed with Prepar3d v. 2.5?

I installed REX3 textures and now I think water looks much better. I didn't touch any config settings. REX3 works perfect with P3D v2.1.

Stopp bashing the poor guy. If this patch had installed itself as expected, a lot of nerves and time could have been saved. I wonder how can people reinstall the OS, only because a piece of poorly tested software doesn't work.

Hei thank you both for replying. I will try to fix the odd previes with this method. There are only a few aircraft completely off the window. Maybe the update will have another way to set up the previev. In FSX it works better though.
