I am pretty much defaults since this is a recent install of P3Dv5. I have been playing around and it seems to be based on what situation the aircraft is in when the scenario is loaded (either at the start of the sim or via a load scenario). I have tried backing out add-ons as much as I can and the problem persists. If this is a problem with my configuration I would next need to do a full uninstall and clean install.

My version is 5.0.31.35253. It is the same as what is in the thread mentiond plus most of the time the wave effect does not start at all.

P3Dv5 and VR and Avatar
I am running P3Dv5 using an Oculus Rift. When I am in avatar mode in VR mode the top 1/2 of my body is missing. Is there some setting I can change to get it back?

I was able to isolate the code change to VirtualReality.dll. If I run with the previous version of it with everything else using the new code the problem does not occur. Unless the intent is for this to happen this sounds like a bug in that DLL.

I have P3d 4.5.12.30293. It appears that beach wave effects are disabled. Is that true in general or do I have a settings problem?

I am using SBuilderX 3.15 which as far as I can tell is the latest version. I do not see a QMID option for vector polygons either on the menu when I right click the polygon or when I select properties from that menu. Any suggestions?

It appears a SimConnect_RequestDataOnSimObject on an AI aircraft in landing mode uses the destination field elevation for ground elevation and in use in calculating AGL, not the elevation immediately beneath the aircraft. Does EZNavs edit the LM NVXxxx file containing it? I can easily create a VOR at the same location with the new ID using BGLCOMP but it gets ignored and I still get the old Morse code ID. Was looking for a way of not correcting the LM supplied NVXxxx.bgl file.
